Dubai-based luxury fashion house celebrates its growing international celebrity presence
Dubai-based luxury fashion house DASHA Fashion, founded by Belarusian designer Darya Chermashentseva, is establishing a distinctive presence in the luxury fashion landscape through sculptural design, refined craftsmanship and a contemporary celebration of femininity.
Known for its signature sculptural corsets, distinctive abayas, statement gowns, artistic blouses and luxury accessories, DASHA combines structured silhouettes with intricate hand embellishment, three-dimensional embroidery and Swarovski crystal detailing. Founded in Dubai with an international outlook, the house approaches fashion as an expression of individuality, confidence and emotion.
Among DASHA’s recent high-profile creations is a bespoke tricolour gown designed for Bollywood actress and former beauty queen Urvashi Rautela, who wore the creation in India during Miss Universe India. Inspired by Rautela’s love for and support of India, the gown transformed the country’s saffron, white and green into a dramatic couture silhouette, brought to life through intricate embellishment and sculptural detailing.
“Creating this gown for Urvashi was a truly special experience for me as a designer. I believe fashion becomes most powerful when it carries emotion and meaning, and this piece allowed us to combine artistic expression, craftsmanship and a deeply personal story in one design,” says Darya Chermashentseva, Founder and Creative Director of DASHA Fashion.
The collaboration reflects DASHA’s growing ability to translate personal stories and identities into highly individualised fashion. For Chermashentseva, couture is not simply about creating a striking garment, but about capturing the emotion and character of the woman wearing it.
At the heart of the house’s design identity is its sculptural corsetry, which has become one of DASHA’s most recognisable signatures. Combining structured construction with artisanal embellishment and three-dimensional detailing, the corsets explore the relationship between architecture, the female form and contemporary artistic expression.
DASHA’s growing international visibility is further strengthened by its connection to Dubai’s fashion and entertainment community. The brand is set to collaborate with Emirati celebrity and influencer Safa Siddiqui, who will wear a DASHA corset in the upcoming fourth season of Dubai Bling.
With its roots in Dubai and a vision that extends beyond the region, DASHA Fashion continues to build a distinctive identity at the intersection of couture craftsmanship, artistic expression and modern femininity. The house’s collections are available through its Dubai showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road and its online platform, with selected pieces also available through Tutus Kurniati at Nakheel Mall, Palm Jumeirah.
