Rosemin Manji

Rosemin Manji, a Canadian-born entrepreneur and television presenter, has significantly influenced the luxury fashion industry in the Middle East. As the founder and managing director of RR&Co. Bespoke Luxury Management, she has been instrumental in bridging the gap between renowned global brands and the burgeoning Middle Eastern market. Her journey from a small town in Canada to becoming a prominent figure in Dubai’s fashion scene is a testament to her passion, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Born in London, Ontario, Canada, Rosemin was the youngest of three siblings. From a young age, she exhibited a keen interest in fashion, often designing clothes for her dolls and immersing herself in fashion magazines like W and Vogue, borrowed from her older sister. This early exposure ignited her passion for the fashion industry. Pursuing her dreams, she relocated to London, England, to study at the London College of Fashion, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Management with a major in Luxury Goods and Marketing. During her academic tenure, she gained invaluable experience interning at prestigious institutions such as Sotheby’s and the Gucci Press Office.

Rosemin’s career took a significant leap forward when she was personally approached by the legendary designer Tom Ford. Joining his team, she worked closely with Ford during his tenure as Vice President of the Gucci Group and Creative Director for both Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci. In her role as his assistant, Rosemin was exposed to various facets of the fashion industry, including brand management, design processes, and people management. Reflecting on this period, she remarked, “I learned more with Tom Ford than I did in university.”

Following her time with Tom Ford, Rosemin advanced to the position of European PR Director at Juicy Couture. In this capacity, she was responsible for establishing the brand’s first office and showroom outside of the United States. Tasked with reshaping the brand’s image beyond its signature tracksuits, she collaborated with high-end publications and styled esteemed personalities, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Moss, Madonna, Kate Winslet, Queen Rania of Jordan, and Sienna Miller. In 2007, Rosemin relocated to Dubai, a city rapidly emerging as a global fashion hub. Recognizing the potential of the Middle Eastern market, she founded RR&Co. Bespoke Luxury Management.

Additionally, Rosemin has worked directly with luxury houses like Hermès, Prada, Chanel, and Roger Vivier on specialized projects, further solidifying her influence in the region’s fashion industry.

Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Rosemin has made significant strides in the media landscape. She became a familiar face on television as a style presenter on Dubai One TV’s weekly lifestyle show, Studio One, where she shared fashion insights and style tips with a broad audience. Her engaging on-screen presence and expertise led to her being shortlisted for accolades such as Best TV Presenter and Face of the UAE.

Her impeccable style and contributions to fashion have not gone unnoticed. Renowned designer Christian Louboutin honored her by designing and naming a shoe after her, a testament to her influence and standing in the fashion community. Moreover, she has been consistently recognized in various publications, earning spots on Best Dressed lists and being featured in magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and Flair.

Rosemin’s commitment extends beyond fashion and business; she is deeply involved in philanthropic endeavors, particularly those focusing on women’s health. She is an active committee member of Bras for a Cause, a charity dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness among young women. This cause holds personal significance for her, as her mother is a breast cancer survivor. Through her platform, Rosemin advocates for early detection and supports initiatives aimed at educating women about the importance of regular health check-ups.
